AFL Trade Summary – Wednesday 20 October

As we approach the final day of the AFL Trade Period, here is a summary of yesterday.

  • Richmond have signed Dion Prestia for pick 6 and other draft picks
  • Richmond have also signed ruckman Toby Nankervis in exchange for a third round pick
  • Michael Hibberd got his trade to Melbourne for essentially a second round pick
  • The Jaeger O’Meara trade looks unlikely at this point and still a chance of him staying at the Suns
  • Richmond’s Brett Deledio has verbally agreed to move to GWS
  • Pick 13 and a future first round pick could be enough to get Bryce Gibbs to the Crows
  • GWS Jarrod Pickett looks set to join Carlton
  • Adelaide’s Jarryd Lyons has requested a trade to Gold Coast
  • A deal might be done that might see Carlton’s Zach Touhy move to Geelong and Geelong’s Billy Smedts move to Carlton
  • Brisbane captain Tom Rockliff will stay at the Lions
  • Fremantle’s Michael Barlow is still not sure whether he will stay at the Dockers
  • Geelong’s Nathan Vardy has chosen West Coast as his trade destination
