The Socceroos have announced their squad to play in a friendly against England at the Stadium Of Light in England on May 28.
There are four uncapped players in Milos Degenek, Bradden Inman, Stefan Mauk and Jamie Maclaren. Mauk who is a central midfielder, has been in magnificent form for Adelaide United and was awarded the A League young player of the year this season. Maclaren who is a striker has scored 20 goals in 25 appearances for Brisbane Roar this season.
Craig Goodwin was included into the squad after being instrumental to Adelaide United winning the title and just recently moved to newly-promoted Dutch first-tier side Sparta Rotterdam. Jackson Irvine, Tomi Juric, Matt McKay and Aziz Behich also earned a recall.
Tim Cahill, Matthew Spiranovic, Ryan McGowan, Trent Sainsbury, Nathan Burns, James Troisi and Apostolos Gianno were all left out the squad to focus on their league campaigns in Asia. Matthew Leckie was also left out for personal reasons.
