Did Manchester United make a mistake in selling Chicharito?

Javier Hernández scored once again for German Club, Bayer Leverkusen in their 3-0 win over Wolfsburg. His 15th goal of the season was an 18 yard curler from the edge of the box and it ponders the question, was Manchester United right to sell him?
The season prior to his selling, he was on loan to Spanish Giants, Real Madrid and played 33 matches with only 7 he started in and scored 7 goals. Since he has moved to Bayer Leverkusen, he has scored 15 goals in 23 league appearances in which he has started in 20 of them. He was on the fringes at Manchester United as they preferred other strikers ahead of him which only frustrated him. He would usually come of the bench with fans hoping he would score with limited game time.
In my view, I think Manchester United should have given Chicharito another chance to prove himself in the starting lineup. He has shown in the past that can score but plenty of times for Manchester United, he would come off the bench and score when the team needed him. If he could do that as a sub then i’m sure he can do that as a starter but for some unknown reason, they were not prepared to do that.
For Chicharito, he was right to move if he is not getting any game time which he wasn’t and the move to the Bundesliga was the right choice for him as now he is doing wonders at  Bayer Leverkusen as their number 1 striker.
Now 27 and entering the prime years as a striker, he can now stamp his authority in the Bundesliga as he is  scoring more regularly than he was in the past few years. He can go from strength to strength and can show to Manchester United what they are missing out on.
